Empowering Kansans with disabilities to live independently The Resource Center for Independent Living is a nonprofit organization that provides services to individuals with disabilities their families and their communities. Our goal is to empower persons with disabilities to the maximum extent possible to control their lives and live independently. Latest News Removed Barriers Gives More Time in the Community Nevonna had been struggling with having a ramp built and her landlord was not willing to build one but did give a permission to have one built by a contractor. She also wanted an Emotional Support Animal and felt the landlord was not following Fair Housing Accommodations.
