Our mission is to provide access to the arts and create platforms for self-advocacy for musicians of all ages and abilities on the autism spectrum. The mission of The Musical Autist is to provide access to the arts and platforms for self advocacy. Elevating Autistic Musicians is our newest program, promoting the music of autistic people, by and for autistic people. Our mission is to elevate our voices, our stories and our music. In 2011, we were the first organization to start Sensory Friendly Concerts. Our other programs are Empowerment Jam Sessions and Musical Autist Troupe. The Musical Autist celebrates and promotes neurodiversity!
