We are excited to welcome Dr. Alvin Powell as our new Chief Medical Officer! Originally from Boston, Dr. Powell trained in Internal Medicine at Duke University and later completed a nephrology fellowship at Emory University. He has an extensive background in healthcare leadership, including roles as Chief Medical Officer and Chief Health Equity Officer. With a passion for community health, he has also participated in medical mission trips to Haiti and Honduras. Having received care at an FQHC as a child, Dr. Powell is honored to now serve at TAPM.
