The purpose of the Norfolk State University Alumni Association is to organize develop and encourage interest of the Norfolk State University alumni as well as promote the educational objectives and activities of Norfolk State University by providing an organization through which alumni of the University may 1 assist the University in its efforts to obtain public and private support 2 assist the University in recruitment and retention of students aided by the awarding of scholarships to deserving needy students 3 develop career opportunities and 4 communicate with alumni and friends in support of the University
