Los Banos Liberation Memorial Scholarship Foundation Inc
The Los Banos Liberation Memorial Scholarship Fund is a living memorial to the fighting spirit of the 11th Airborne and the Hunters ROTC Philippine guerrilla forces who rescued 2,147 men, women and children from the Los Banos Japanese Internment Camp. We also honor the extreme sacrifice of the citizens of Los Banos who were massacred by the Japanese military units in the aftermath of the rescue. The Foundation funds 15 undergraduate students at University of the Philippines Rural High School in Los Banos. Supporting the school is the best way we can honor the legacy of Los Banos. We are also working to educate the next generation on this heroic life saving World War II event. We owe it to the past, present, and future generations to keep the historical and personal memories alive.
