The Foundation’s mission is to support Sandia Creek Ranch's efforts to offer a sanctuary for rescued horses as they are rehabilitated and opportunities for individuals seeking equine education. SCRAF is established with the specific purpose of obtaining tax favored gifts from donors whose funds are redeployed into the following categories: equine welfare, support for students of equine education, and maintenance of equestrian facilities in Southern California. Grants will be made to those involved in horse rescue and rehabilitation; scholarships for youth and adults in all areas of equine education and sports.
