The Marsh House of LaFayette Come stroll the lovely grounds of the Marsh House circa 1836 in La Fayette and experience the Antebellum and Victorian eras as docents provide house history and information about 19th century furnishings many of which are original to the house. The Marsh House of La Fayette is a house museum and events venue owned by Walker County GA. Volunteers under the Board of Trustees part of the Walker County Historical Society support maintain and develop this lovely antebellum house and grounds through historical tours community events fundraising projects and rental income.
