We are a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit serving pets of the homeless and low income Veterans. We bring food and supplies to the homeless and their pets primarily in Riverside, California. We spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinate and license as many of those pets as possible while educating their human companion's about pet responsibility.

Taking It To The Streets With Lori And Shira | Riverside, California | Homeless with Pets Outreach Welcome to Taking it to the Streets with Lori and Shira where our mission and passion is to Spread a Little Kindness each day. Please join us in our efforts in Riverside California to bring donated food and pet supplies to the dogs and cats living on the streets and snacks water and toiletries for their homeless companions. Our supporters help us to provide spay neuter surgery vaccinations microchips and county licenses for these street pets. Our Story Taking It To The Streets with Lori and Shira was a concept that began by Shiras concerns about stray animals on the streets and grew into a larger concern in March 2012 for the homeless pets we call street dogs and the people who care for them.
