Take a look at this behind the scenes peek into the making of Hometown Choir's "Hometown Beat" music video - a collaboration with Light House Studio, Piedmont Family YMCA, and Music Resource Center. Each week, Front Porch teaching artists visit the YMC after school programs at Charlottesville City Schools six elementary schools. This fall, the children wrote a song together, and in the spring made a music video! We can't wait for more projects like this! "I love the collaboration between Charlottesville non-profits. Have always been curious about Light House and Music Resource and was thrilled to learn that they were working w/ Front Porch and the YMCA. That is how a city should run, with groups teaming up their resources and skills and staffing. LOVE IT!
