TEACH provides free one-on-one English literacy education to adults with English language barriers. Rooted in the Congregation of St. Joseph’s founding values of promoting inclusion, unity and equity, Tutoring English to Advance Change (TEACH)works , a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit, seeks to enrich the quality of life of all immigrants so that they may actively participate in and contribute to their communities. Through free individualized instruction, mentoring and support, TEACH empowers adult learners to build their strengths and develop confident voices, enabling them to advocate for themselves and their families in all dimensions of life.
