Happy June 1! We had a great day at Bilkie Field playing some baseball! ⚾⚾ Our morning games saw the Tigers vs the Athletics and then the Orioles vs the Blue Jays; afternoon games had the Padres going against the Royals and the Mets against the Reds... and they all played great and enjoyed their buddies! Thank you to the volunteers from Canton Therapeutic Recreation, who are camp counselors for some of our players, as well as the Canton Swim team and the Gold Legends Baseball Team from Commerce, as well as our individual volunteers. For one of the games we had a special first pitch by Del Redfield from the Canton Community Foundation, who enlisted the help of his adorable son. 😍 A great day! See everyone next week! (fb)

It was a windy day, but that didn’t stop the fun or the action on the baseball field! This afternoon featured two exciting matchups: White Sox vs. Red Sox and Marlins vs. Pirates. The energy was high, and the players brought their A-game! 🎉 Huge congratulations to Avery and Carter for hitting out-of-the-park home runs! We’d also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Ellis Porter and the Livonia Hawks 13U baseball team for generously volunteering their time and energy this afternoon. ⚾️ (fb)
