Camp Viola BUILDING A STRONG FOUNDATION Donate Connecting Kids to Christ in His Creation Camp Viola is a private nonprofit Christian organization founded by Miss Viola Burks. In the 1920s Miss Viola Burks was Executive Secretary of the LaGrange Welfare Association. For some years Miss Vi had witnessed many difficult family situations and saw a need to help children who for various reasons were missing so much in life. She obtained funds from the Churches of LaGrange to provide a weeks outing at the very first encampment in 1926.
