NEO Teen Helpline, Inc.
The NEO Teen Helpline provides a toll free, confidential Helpline for teens, staffed by trained peer and adult volunteers. Our volunteer training includes in-depth listening skills and talks about current teen issues presented by Helpline staff and area professionals. We provide a confidential listening ear where teens can discuss any issue and we provide information and referral in the U.S. for various issues. We help our teenage callers to identify their own solutions to their problems. We believe that this approach helps teenagers build problem solving strategies and increases the teenager's self-esteem. We do not give advice except in life and death situations.
