A private passion becomes a public Trust The Figs 4 Fun Foundation was established to plant a Preservation Orchard where the many varieties of figs (Ficus carica) can be conserved, displayed, shared, and enjoyed by the public. The Preservation Orchard will enable us to increase public awareness and enjoyment of figs through tastings, demonstrations, seminars, and workshops, through research of the collection, by adding to the existing website database at www.figs4fun.com, and by distribution of scion material and plants to urban and backyard gardeners nationwide.
