Proposed cuts to Medicaid will terminate healthcare for millions of Black Americans who need it most. Rushing these cuts will hurt those who can least afford care, bankrupt families, and will do nothing to lower our health care costs. Congress is moving too far, too fast — proposing over $700 billion in cuts to Medicaid, a program nearly one-third of Black Americans rely on for health insurance and access to life-saving care.
