Rape Victim Services, Inc., dba Lotus, is a 501(C)3, non-profit organization that has provided services to victims of crime since 1987. As Kentucky’s regional children’s advocacy and sexual violence resource center for the Purchase Area, Lotus promotes safety, healing and justice for all-age survivors of child abuse and sexual assault. Our mission is to support survivors, strengthen families, and empower communities. Our comprehensive, specialized service approach helps survivors and their supportive family members through the entire healing process from crisis through long-term recovery- all free of charge. Lotus is also committed to ending oppression and violence through impact-driven community collaboration, outreach, prevention education, and social justice advocacy.

This morning, our amazing team spent time under the sun, getting our hands in the dirt and putting creativity into action — gardening and designing whimsical fairy gardens in our outdoor spaces. 🧚 These new additions offer our clients another peaceful, healing option to connect with nature. It was a joyful, grounding day for staff, and we can't wait for survivors, children, and families to experience the beauty and calm we've added to Lotus.

Survivors of sexual violence deserve support, medical care, and access to a SAFE (Sexual Assault Forensic Exam) if they choose it. Our Sexual Violence Resource Center provides advocacy and support for individuals of all ages impacted by sexual abuse or assault.
