CCI About Us The Chin community has been growing in number in Indianapolis since 2000 due to fleeing from the military dictatorship of our mother country Burma Myanmar. Having been relocated to a new place and environment we face many challenges that make us willingly help each other to meet our basic social and human needs. The social condition of the Chin community necessitated the emergence of a community organization to serve its members day to day survival. With such conviction and in order to serve the Chin population providing means to integrate into the local social structure the Chin in Indiana established the Chin Community of Indiana CCI on July 20 2002.
