JUNIPER is a comprehensive & individualized healing program that serves youth ages 12-18 who have experienced sexual abuse and/or sexual exploitation. At Juniper we deliver clinical therapy for individuals and their family, case management, and life skills mentoring. We are an outpatient community based model and we aim to lower barriers like transportation, communication, and finances. Our services are FREE. We recently had our OPEN HOUSE in Salt Lake City, Utah and we are so grateful to everyone who showed up! With tools in hand and hearts fully invested, Building Owners and Managers Association of Utah (BOMA) volunteers transformed 6 children’s bedrooms in April through our Rooms Restored program. Why do they do it? Here’s what some volunteers have said: “To create a meaningful impact on the children’s lives by creating a comforting environment where they can begin to heal and feel safe.” “If there is any small act of kindness I can render to lift, help or carry someone through their healing journey, I am honored to be a part of it.” BOMA’s hands-on commitment was a powerful example of what’s possible when industry professionals show up with purpose.
