The Union County Health Care Foundation raises funds for the health care needs our hospital, Ellen Sagar Nursing Home and the citizens of Union County. The organization is in its initial stages of establishing fund raising mechanisms for its stated charitable objectives of enhancing and. improving health care in Union County, South Carolina. To this end available funds were used to purchase a 30% interest in ProMed, a South Carolina General Partnership, as a means of providing a continuing-source of income to fund the programs of the organization.
