Skye is a sweet little 5 month old female Australian shephard mix from the Siouxland Humane Society looking for her forever home! She was a little nervous but warmed up nicely with our sweet residents at Holy Spirit Retirement Home. 🌼 God's Garden is waking up! 🌱 Last year, we planted native Iowa wildflowers to support pollinators and bring natural beauty to our campus. We let the tall flower stalks stand through the winter to provide shelter for insects and allow the seeds to fall naturally. Now that spring is here, our maintenance team has trimmed back the dried stalks to make room for new growth. This helps sunlight reach the soil, encourages seedlings to sprout, and keeps the cycle going! We're excited to see what blooms this season—God’s creation at work right in our own backyard. 💛🐝 (fb)
