Home Our Mission We are dedicated to the collection documentation restoration interpretation and protection of the history of Berkeley County West Virginia and to making it available for education research and community purposes. The Society operates as an allvolunteer nonprofit and receives no public funds. Our Goals Develop the Belle Boyd House as an education centerCreate a depository for historical papers and materialsRestore and protect the artifacts documents and manuscriptsWrite research publish and continue to develop architectural and genealogical materials for public accessCatalog and document all artifacts and items donated or loaned to the Berkeley County Historical Society.
