Gearin’ Up Bicycles « Washington Area Bicyclist Association Gearin Up Bicycles Gearin Up Bicycles A community bike shop and hub for bicycle repair education since 2012 Gearin Up Bicycles is on a mission to create bicyclemechanic training for youth from underserved communities in Washington DC simultaneously offering career development opportunities and providing access to quality affordable used bicycles for those in need. WABA and Gearin Up joined forces in 2023. Hours Location The shop is at 10 Harry Thomas Way in Eckington. Donations We can accept donations of bicycles or other gear during our open hours.
