The History of Epsilon Mu Lambda Approximately fortyfive 45 years after the founding of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. there were seven young men in the Pensacola area who had a desire to continue in the same tradition of our founding Jewels. Each of these young men had become affiliated with Alpha Phi Alpha at various Historically Black Colleges.
