Rescued For A Reason Assistance Animals

Rescued for a Reason Assistance Animals exists to benefit individuals with disabilities, the animals we train, and our community as a whole. We carefully select homeless animals and train them to be highly skilled assistance animals to be partnered with a person in need of the help these animals can provide. This allows individuals with disabilities to lead more full lives, provides a job to previously unwanted animals, and benefits the community at large through the presence of highly skilled and trained assistance animals and greater community participation from persons with disabilities. An important goal is to ensure every animal we rescue has the best possible life, be it as an assistance animal for someone with disabilities, other kind of working animal, or pet, as circumstances require, and will not end up homeless again.
