The Rochester/Monroe County Homeless Continuum of Care, Inc. (CoC) is a non-profit organization that provides leadership, guidance and promotes collaborative partnerships with local housing and service providers with the goal of eliminating homelessness. Since 2013, the CoC has been successful in creating a coordinated homeless system that results in getting people connected quickly to the programs that will best meet their needs. On any given night 856 people experience homelessness in Monroe County; more than 5,500 persons annually. The CoC provides oversight of more than $12.4 million in HUD homeless funding awarded to 14 organizations for 47 programs in the community.
