The Center’s mission is to enhance the quality of medical care, and improve the health of the citizens of the State of Maryland. The Center for a Healthy Maryland is the 501(c)(3) arm of MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society. The Center supports the study of medicine and diffusion of medical knowledge though the continuing medical education of physicians, provides programs to maintain the wellness of practicing physicians serving the public, preserves and learns from the past history of medical care in Maryland, educates the public about medical issues and promotes public health programs.
