Empowering women in sub-Saharan Africa to become self-sufficient through the provision of #microfinance, business training, and ongoing mentoring and support. Our mission is to provide the poorest women in sub-Saharan Africa with the tools and financial literacy skills to enable them to work their own way out of poverty. Our vision is a world where all those living in poverty have the opportunity to build better lives for themselves and their families. By providing them with the skills and tools to start small businesses we support them to become self-sufficient for their daily needs. Over time the money they generate from their own effort helps to ensure food security, improve housing, access to healthcare, and an education for their children. We encourage them to make savings. Savings give them confidence in their ability to weather whatever life throws at them. With over 97% of our loans repaid, we can use the money again and again to help more and more women.
