Home | grow-our-kids Mission Nourish young learners by filling the gap for under served yearround students. Grow Our Kids is focused on taking childhood hunger out of the equation so that kiddos in difficult situations can thrive as early learners. We serve our mission by creating andrunning yearround programs in coordination with yearround local schools. While incredible summer weekend and holiday programs exist serving traditional calendar schools no other programs exist in our area that serve the particular needs of yearround children who go on 3to4 week long trackout breaks every quarter.

THANK YOU to our friends at Cary Academy who came together in an incredible effort to raise food and pack bags for our families. 50 breakfast bags and 25 lunch bags are now ready to go to feed kiddos in need. We couldn’t do it without the support of our #communitypartners and wonderful volunteers like @Deepa Rajamani who coordinated this effort.

THANK YOU Thrive Physical Therapy and Erin Blankenship for such an incredible effort and donation to Grow Our Kids. With the help of Erin’s Thrive community, they raised over $7,700 and over 1,770 items of food which fills empty shelves with nourishing food for weeks and months to come.
