We empower people to engage in local production using the resources available in their community. The Green Urban Lunch Box is a Salt Lake County-based non-profit organization that empowers people to connect to their food and community while revitalizing urban spaces and building a resilient local food culture. As an organization, we believe that a sustainable and socially just urban agriculture system is possible when we harness the creativity and power of our community. We aim to foster a community-centered approach to improving food security. Through our programs, we work to engage the community in local agriculture and increase the consumption of locally grown food while decreasing food waste.

With the seedblocking and sowing of onions and leeks last week, our farm season has officially begun. 🧅 There are tons of exciting things to look forward to: •Join our SFI program and spend the season learning about regenerative farming from hands-on experience, field trips, and lectures. 🧑🌾 •Sign up for a community class and attend a two hour workshop at our farm, learning seasonal skills for growing food.
