Territory is young people leading through the practice of design in our communities. Territory is a place-based urban design studio where young people are building better futures for themselves and their communities through the practice of design. At Territory young people are doing hands on projects and gaining a toolkit of problem solving skills leading to transformative career opportunities and pathways in architecture, planning and community development. A key outcome is young people advocating for a more just and equitable city. Our home base is the Austin neighborhood, on Chicago's west side.
