Healthy Fathering Collaborative

The Healthy Fathering Collaborative - a network of agencies dedicated to supporting fathers, families and their children - Steve Killpack, Coordinator a community collaborative of services for fathers and families, covering the lifespan of fatherhood - Three schoolmates, all of whom grew up in Northeast Ohio, foundedthe Community Endeavors Foundation in 1992.  The founding trusteesshared a vision of "giving something back to the City of Cleveland andits families" in honor of their own families and their childhoods.  In1995, the Foundation created the Healthy Fathering Initiative, a socialand health service grant program focusing on stimulating the creationof services to disadvantaged fathers.  Through the Initiative, (whichcontinues to be the primary grantmaking program of the Foundation), theCommunity Endeavors Foundation continues to support social and healthservice projects aimed at: Promoting healthy responsible fathering, providing for the emotional and financial needs of a family; Facilitating effective co-parenting relationships between parents, both wed and unwed; Supporting responsible nurturing parenting by fathers, beginning in pregnancy, through birth and continuing throughout adolescence.

The 14th Annual White Ribbon Day in Cleveland wasFriday December 6th 2024 the 35th Anniversary of the Montreal Massacre the event that led to the founding of the global White Ribbon Campaign. Hundreds tooka public stand against genderbased violence that day. The campaign may be observed on other days in Ohio and around the globe during the 16 days of Activism Against GenderBased Violence between November 25th International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and December 10th Human Rights DayClick hereto join the 2025 White Ribbon Campaign as a partner organization andorganize your group organization or family to take a public stand against genderbased violence.
