As you walk onto the second floor, you’re met with the warm welcome from Julia Scarbrough’s portrait. She was the lady of the house in the early 1800’s and was known for her lavish parties and wonderful sense of humor. Her painting is so rich and vibrant that we can’t help but look every time we walk by.
