The Northern Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association (NVHAA) is a Christ-centered, 501(c)3 non-profit organization established to provide the organizational, legal, and financial framework for seven homeschool high school sports teams in Northern Virginia. NVHAA provides homeschoolers the opportunity to play competitive high school sports and do so in a Christian environment. NVHAA also aims to encourage families to continue homeschooling through high school by providing competitive high school sports opportunities. NVHAA's funding is mainly through tax deductible charitable donations, event sponsorships, event advertising, and fundraisers. All leaders, staff, and board members are volunteers and receive NO pay or benefits from NVHAA.
