The Wild Felid Advocacy Center of Washington is dedicated to increasing the understanding and appreciation of wild cats through providing sanctuary (safe haven) for all species of  displaced captive or wild (non-domestic) cats,  education and conservation.It serves as a Living Classroom for visitors young and old who are given individual attention and a special experience. The Center reconnects people with wildlife by introducing visitors to rare, threatened and endangered species up close. The animal residents serve as ambassadors for their wild counterparts and teach visitors about their species' inherent value.

WILD FELID ADVOCACY CENTER Welcome The Wild Felid Advocacy Center of Washington was founded by Shelleen and Mark Mathews in 2004 and received nonprofit status in 2006. Shelleen began her work with wild cats in 1971. WFAC is a 501c3 nonprofit run by a volunteer Board of Directors. If you talk to the animals they will talk with you and you will know each other.
