Since 1996 the Williamsburg Youth Orchestra WYO has inspired young musicians across the greater Williamsburg areaincluding WilliamsburgJames City County York Newport News New Kent and Gloucesterby providing music education and performance opportunities. WYO serves students from 3rd grade through high school with two String ensembles a Junior Wind Brass Ensemble and the areas only full Symphony Orchestra experience for youth. Our mission is to elevate inspire and enrich orchestral music experiences for young musicians while our vision is to create a welcoming environment where they can joyfully pursue musical excellence to share with our community.
