Eastside K9 Avalanche Rescue Eastside K9 is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that was formed in 2004 to provide avalanche rescue dogs for Mammoth Mountain in case of persons buried in an avalanche. Eastside K9 also provides backcountry safety education on the dangers of traveling in avalanche terrain. Eastside K9 merchandise is now available through our online SHOP or visit the Ski Patrol Office at both Main Lodge and Canyon Lodge for specialty items not found online. All proceeds go directly into our organization to keep you safe.
