Organization Vision: The Black Women’s Mental Health Institute envisions a world where every Black woman and girl thrives in every dimension of wellness. The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services and National Institute of Health (NIH) recognizes that wellness encompasses eight mutually interdependent dimensions: physical, intellectual, emotional, social, spiritual, vocational, financial, and environmental.
