Today on #PhilanthropyTuesday we are grateful for the Houghtaling family and the legacy of Jason Houghtaling. Family and friends created a fund at the Community Foundation in Jason’s memory to support cancer research and assist families impacted by life-threatening childhood diseases. Recently, gifts from the Jason Houghtaling Memorial Fund have helped support a new outpatient pediatric cancer clinic in West Michigan. We had a great time at our 2025 Spring Donors Luncheon last week! Nearly 90 people joined us at The Stone Lodge. In addition to a delicious lunch and time to catch up, we heard from a pair of local organizations that help people experiencing a housing crisis. Thank you to Julie Vitale and Karen Nottelmann who talked about Hope 101 Ministry and to Traci Slager who shared about Love INC of Newaygo County's new Rooms of Refuge program.
