First Resource Center
First Resource Center is a food pantry serving the residents of Anderson County, Texas. First Resource Center is a 501c3, our primary mission is to provide food to people in need in Anderson County, TX. We are the official "Feed America" pantry, partnering with East Texas Food Bank to serve on average 282 families per month in 2021. We also provide 115 "Sr Boxes" each month thru the Federal Program and sponsor/serve a monthly produce drop that averages 250 families each month. We also help those in need to pay for their utility bills thru a variety of arrangements with utility companies, churches and the Salvation Amry.

FRC is pleased to announce that we have been granted a Gold Seal of Transparency from Candid. This seal provides you with assurances that financial donations made to FRC are being handled properly and aligned with non-profit financial accounting rules. As an all volunteer organization, we are proud to say our only expenses are overhead (rent, utilities, insurance, maintenance) and food.
