TOMMBA Holiday Weekend Trail Report: 5/23/25 ‼️IMPORTANT: WHILE TRAILS ARE OPEN FOR RIDING THERE IS STILL STORM DEBRIS CLOSE TO TRAILS, ROOTBALLS AND OTHER ISSUES THAT MAY BE ENCOUNTERED. PLEASE RIDE WITH CARE AND DO NOT ASSUME THE TRAILS ARE THE SAME AS LAST YEAR! 🟢BOYNE FOREST TRAIL: All trails are open for riding, except: 🔴 Loop 1 (beginner loop) clockwise between Erickson Rd Parking Lot (Post 6) and the Loop 2 connector (Post 7). 🔴 Loop 3 (expert loop) closed 🔴 Thing 1 closed 🟡 Directional trails are in effect for the season with the exception of the portion of Loop 1 between the Hog Wild connector (Post 12) and the Loop 2 Connector (Post 7). Please respect all signage! 🟢 AVALANCHE All trails are open for riding ‼️Important: Boyne City has not officially opened Avalanche for access. Hiking and emergency access trails are not open. Ride at your own risk! 🟢 BROWNS CREEK TRAILS All trails are open for riding 🟢 TANTON FAMILY RESERVE All trails are open for riding 🟡 OFFIELD FAMILY VIEWLANDS 🟡 Pink and Red trails are mostly clear. 🟡 Blue trail clearing is in progress 🔴 Red trail has not been touched. 🟢 MELVIN FAMILY TRAILS All trails aew open for riding 🟢 BIGFOOT Several loops are now open, approximately 8-9 miles. The Northwest Passage trail is open from the Green/Welsh intersection north to Brutus Rd. The Bridges trail is completely open to the Blue Bottle / North Spine intersection. (fb)
