Su Refugio Ministries
Working to RESCUE, FEED, and EQUIP orphans and widows in Paraguay, Peru, and Argentina for God’s glory. Su Refugio Ministries exists to carry out God’s call to “care for orphans and widows in their distress” (James 1:27). Our mission is to further the gospel throughout South America as we meet physical needs of vulnerable women and children through a variety of national-run programs. This includes providing holistic care for children rescued from abuse, discipling women and training them in skills to earn income, feeding malnourished children, and offering Christian education. Every interaction with the vulnerable families of Paraguay, Peru, and Argentina is an opportunity to put Christ’s love on display.

We thank God that the new first grade class at Su Refugio Argentina Christian School is enjoying a smooth start to the school year. The school has been instrumental in Su Refugio's ability to share Christ in the troubled barrios of Rafaela, even among those who are skeptical of Christians. One example is a young boy who started first grade this year.

Su Refugio Ministries’ Board of Directors is comprised of eight individuals whose combined experience and expertise are invaluable to the ministry. Today we feature Board Member Jonathan Rourke, who pastors Tri-City Bible Church (TCBC) in Vista, California. Since joining the Board in 2023, Jonathan has been integral to pastoral training initiatives in Paraguay, and the TCBC congregation has embraced the call of James 1:27 through giving, mission trips, and volunteering alongside Su Refugio.
