Patients with access to video games during their recovery experience less pain, require less medicine, and report a greater sense of well-being than with any other form of treatment. The Get-Well Gamers Foundation seeks to aid this process in over 230 healthcare facilities worldwide by supplying video games, systems, and accessories to these facilities. Donated by the public and offered to the hospitals free of charge, this electronic entertainment makes a world of difference in the stay of a hospitalized child, for everything from a broken leg to bronchitis.
