Salina Regional Health Center has reaffirmed its dedication to improving infant and maternal health by receiving recognition through the High 5 for Mom & Baby Premier program. This initiative, developed by the United Methodist Health Ministry Fund, aims to increase breastfeeding initiation and duration rates across Kansas. Lori Faerber, Director of Women and Infant Services, and Suzanne Sullivan, NICU Lead, highlight the vital role of breastfeeding in early childhood development. They also discuss how Salina Regional Health Center equips new mothers with the education, support, and confidence they need to successfully begin and continue breastfeeding.
