LFP connects people to nature and healthy food as a catalyst for better quality of life, focusing its efforts in at-risk urban and rural communities with innovative hands-on activities which empower people with the skills to grow their own organic food and eat it. Regenerative agriculture and organic gardening skills emphasize the value of growing food locally utilizing safe, natural methods which enhance the environment. Cross sector community-centric programming is highly adaptable, providing scalable models which address applied educational methods, food insecurity, unemployment, environmental issues, neighborhood blight, social inequities and other concerns related to endemic poverty and disadvantaged areas.
