ESLC is working around the clock in Annapolis to oppose this proposed elimination of funding. We need your help to advocate for the full conservation funding. Next week, ESLC’s Director of Land Use and Policy, Owen Bailey, will be a speaker at the upcoming Maryland Main Street Conference in Easton, MD. As part of the fast-paced IGNITE session, Owen will deliver the closing talk of a five-minute, high-energy presentation exploring how value-per-acre data can reshape the way communities think about Main Streets, financial resilience, and overall land use. This session will spotlight how small-scale, high-impact development can outperform low-density growth in terms of tax revenue, infrastructure efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
