IT IS THE MISSION OF EVERY VOICE CHOIRS (EVC) TO PROMOTE THE MUSICAL AND PERSONAL GROWTH OF YOUTH BY EMPOWERING THEM TO DISCOVER AND SHARE THEIR VOICES WITH CONFIDENCE AND PRIDE. EVC SEEKS TO BUILD ON STUDENTS' UNIQUE MUSICAL INTERESTS AND EXPERIENCES, CREATING ENSEMBLES THAT ARE SHAPED BY THEIR DIVERSE MEMBERS IN WHICH EVERY VOICE TRULY MATTERS.

Thrilled to share that in December 2023, EVC’s Generations Choir performed the world premiere of Daron Hagen's "Everyone, Everywhere" at Carnegie Hall. It was an incredible honor to join The Cecilia Chorus of New York, conducted by Mark Shapiro in celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights. The piece highlights quotes from Frederick Douglas, Elenor Roosevelt and many more.
