ABOUT Willie Diggs Basketball Foundation mission duty and purpose is to improve the academic and community life of boys and girls through the game of basketball by providing funding support for educational and athletic purposes. WHY IT MATTERS It is the Foundations belief that participation in sports specifically basketball can have a significantimpact on the overall development and quality of life of children and youth as they prepare for adulthood. OUR GOAL Ourgoal is to encourage and support academic achievement and community service while promoting the development of leadership and communication skills as well as selfesteem in youth of all ages through sportsrelated activities.
