MISSION: To support historic Concordia Cemetery in preserving the heritage of the cemetery, its grounds and buildings through promotion, community outreach, education and events. To assist Concordia Cemetery with the restoration, preservation, and protection of the cemetery through community engagement and the acquisition of grants and charitable donations. VISION: To encourage and support cultural heritage and historic tourism for Concordia Cemetery and its neighborhood and community.

Concordia Cemetery Every Stone Tells a Story. Latest News In days gone by caretakers at Concordia kept livestock which helped clear away vegetation and weeds and kept the grounds tidy. Recently we invited some 4legged lawn mowers to come to the cemetery to graze and clear away brush and their favorite delicacy poison ivy. Goats can maneuver around delicate headstones without causing damage.

One of Western New York’s oldest cemeteries, Historic Concordia Cemetery has been lovingly restored and cared for entirely by volunteers for decades after its abandonment. Today, our dedicated team continues to preserve its history, honor those buried here, and welcome the community to this important historic site. We are currently seeking passionate volunteers to join us in a variety of roles: 🔹 Grant Writing & Fundraising – Help secure funding to sustain and grow preservation efforts.
