Heritage Days
The Chesterville Heritage Day Festival is an annual community festival held in Chesterville, Ohio. Chesterville is in Central Ohio approximately 30 miles North of Columbus. However, since we are centrally located many of our residents travel to Cleveland and Cincinnati for sporting events, shopping or even day trip vacations! The festival has been in existence since 1976. It's purpose is to culturally educate our community of our early 1800's heritage and also to raise money to provide much needed repairs on our many historical buildings. The festival has a car show, children's games/play area, vendors, a silent auction, raffles, an original theater production, an art show, a pie auction, a tractor show, a community soccer game, bingo, historical displays/tours and a parade that includes the local band, VFW, floats, Girl and Boy Scouts! Virtually everyone participates in the parade! We would like to preserve our heritage and delight our community at the same time! 2017 is our first year being 501 c 3 tax exempt and also recognized as Non-Profit in the state of Ohio! We are excited to be matched with donors that can help our dreams come true!
