Some special moments from the Clarence R Kelly Garden in early May! Featuring: 🍅 Watering the tomato trellis 🥬 A kid-made kale salad in a Frozen box. A young girl was just wandering around the playground eating plain kale out of her “lunchbox” that she had made it before we got there. We loved it! 🐝 A boy bravely saved a wet bee from the garden! After its wings dried and it flew into a nearby holly tree, the kid watched it for a long time, and brought it extra flowers. He said “maybe one day I can be a teacher and teach other kids all about insects!” 🔬 And a kale kaleidoscope! (fb)
